Effective Communication
Communication is an ongoing challenge. This session  focuses on communicating clearly, how to overcome barriers to communication, the importance of non-verbal communication, essential listening as well as assessing your personal communication style.

Managing Conflict
Learn how to use conflict effectively to create synergy, find creative solutions,  and as a means to resolve problems. The problem with conflict is not that we have it but how we have it.

Day Two:
Recognition and Reward
Recognition and reward is the key to employee engagement and improved performance. Learn simple skills and methods to provide motivation to staff.

Performance Management
A big part of performance management lies in the strength of the relationship between management and staff. Learn how to address problem employees, to develop credibility and trust, and provide coaching opportunities to turn low performers into high performers.

Providing Constructive Criticism

Effective feedback and constructive criticism are growth opportunities for staff. How its presented is the determined factor as to whether this will be a motivating or demotivating experience for employee's.

Performance Appraisals

  • Workshop sign in starts at 8:30 AM. The workshop starts at 9:00 AM and runs until 4:30 PM with an hour break for lunch.  Coffee, tea, and pastries are available in the morning however you are on your own for lunch. 
  • Though we try to ensure that parking is reasonable for workshop and conference attendees there are times when you will need to pay for parking.  If you have parking questions please call the hotel where the workshop/conference is being held.
